Most lake owners moved to the lake to enjoy the serenity of the water, trees, laid-back time to sit on decks or enjoy swimming and boating. Some lake owners have dogs that haven't learned that not everyone enjoys the continuous barking which destroys the lake's peace and tranquility.
There are several safe ways to teach a dog not to bark and it is suggested that lake owners research which method works best. Prince's Lakes Ordinances do have rules for nusiance animals and continuous barking falls into that category.
It shall be unlawful for a person to own or keep any animal which by frequent or habitual howling, yelping, barking, screeching, other vocalization, or otherwise, causes serious annoyance or disturbance to persons in the vicinity.
So be a couteous nieghbor and refrain your dog from barking.
